Will there be translation?
The school is bilingual (English and Portuguese) and all lectures will be translated.
Are there any required prerequisites to join?
There are no prerequisites for the Kingdom School. DTS is NOT required.
All are welcome to come if you are hungry to grow in your relationship with Jesus, have a desire to step out in faith, and are willing to fully engage for the entire three weeks.
What is included in the price of the school?
The price includes accommodation, food, transportation during the school for outreaches/evangelism, and all training sessions.
All other expenses - including any visa costs and travel to and from the school venue - are not included in the price.
When and how do I pay school fees?
The full cost of the school is $1,100 BRL (€250 or $290 USD).
Registering for the school is free, but the full payment of the school fees are due on July 1st. Your registration and place in the school will not be completed until this payment has been made.
Full details on how to make your payment will be sent in an email following your registration.
When should I arrive?
You may arrive at the venue between 10:00-12:00 on July 13th in order to settle in your accommodations and be on time for lunch and registration.
We highly encourage all international participants to arrive on July 12th to ensure you adjust well and are ready to dive in on July 13th.
How do I get to the venue?

You can travel to the venue by personal car, bus, Uber, or shuttle (if you are flying into GIG). If you are wanting to get a shuttle from GIG airport you will need to contact us at least two weeks ahead of time.
What are the accommodations like?
The school will be held on the beautiful grounds of Sítio Coqueiros an hour outside of the city of Rio de Janeiro. On the grounds there are outdoor lounges, a pool, football field, and wide open gardens to connect with God and others.
The rooms at the venue are large dorm rooms with 31 bunkbeds and will be shared in simple, tight quarters. Please take note that there is no separate spaces for married couples. Along with your rooms, you will share showers and toilets with the same gender.
There are single person bedrooms available and smaller shared dorm rooms that are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact us if you are interested in one of these rooms. Extra fees are applied and must be paid in order to secure a room.
-Single Room (twin bed and small space for personal belongings, Personal AC, sharing public shower and toilet): R$660

Are families welcome?
All families are welcome but we have very limited space for family housing. Please contact us directly if you are coming as a family. There is no guarantee that we will be able to house you together but we're open to discussing the possibilities. There are no individual rooms for married couples.
There will be no childcare provided but older children are welcome to be a part of all aspects of the school.
Please know that we would love to accommodate for all situations, but it may not be possible.
Do I need a visa for Brazil? (for internationals)

If you hold an Australian, Japanese, Canadian, or US passport, you can apply for an e-visa here: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/brazil/online/home/index The cost is 45 USD. Please allow 3-5 days for processing time.
-There has been statments made that starting June 17, 2019, citizens from Canada, Australia, Japan, and the U.S. can visit Brazil for up to 90 days without a visa. This would need to be verified, because as of now, it has not been offically announced.
If you are from a nation that requires a visa and is not eligible for e-visa, contact your nearest Brazilian consulate or embassy.
What should I pack for the School?
- Notebook and Bible
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Light rain jacket or umbrella
- Bug spray (recommended)
- Mosquito net (if desired)
- Bathing suit (Ladies: one piece, Men: shorts)
- Bedding (fitted bedsheet, pillow, blanket/sleeping bag)
